System Restore will only delete newly installed softwares that were installed after the restore point(date) you set it to. Your files and folders should be safe, as mine are. A System Recovery will place ALL files, folders, and software in a folder that may or may not be accessible.
hi there! just wanna ask, if i use system restore, will my old files be deleted?
i was able to download malwarebytes anti malware and i was able to remove security tool but whenever i ran my laptop on normal mode, my desktop is still black (but the icons are already there and no more security tool) and the prob is, it hangs up. the mouse pointer is moving but i can’t click on anything. could it be the security tool still?
I got this damn thing too, zonealarm said “Acrobat wants to access the net” and I said sure why not, then seconds later bam! Fuck adobe for taking so long to patch their horrid acrobat reader
seems this virus attacked a lot of people, gee this virus is a serious bitch, pardon me for my vocabulary, but really…what a pain in my @ss, I hope the person who created this virus suffers from a local infarctus.

Oh, Yeah! After you’ve gone through the Safe Mode and removed Security Tool and other viruses leached onto it don’t forget to do a system restore to a prior date. it helps!
I got this last week. what a pain. Easy to remove though. But I was still left with reminences and entrails of trogans and viruses on my computer. It’ll never be the same.. ugh.. look out for all suspicious files with their names as number (e.g. 07654056). Make sure you make a scan with your Anti-Virus program and delete them! Check your Start-up programs (Run: msconfig) and look for siszyd32, uncheck the box, then search and delete it!
The quickest and easiest way to remove Security Tool is to Restart Computer and quickly press F8 and operate your computer in “Safe Mode”. Once in safe mode, go to system restore and back date computer to the date before this piece of shit malware infected your system.
@chubuking do you think there is a chance my files in C:/ and D:/ drive are safe? I get this blackscreen instead of windows opening, but is there a chance the files are safe? X___X
